Cefuroxime axetil-d3 is the deuterium labeled Cefuroxime axetil. Cefuroxime Axetil, a prodrug of the cephalosporin cefuroxime and an oarl broad spectrum antibiotic, inhibits several gram-positive and gram-negative organisms, including those most frequently associated with various common community-acquired infections^[1].

Stable heavy isotopes of hydrogen, carbon, and other elements have been incorporated into drug molecules, largely as tracers for quantitation during the drug development process.
